Fiction
We accept previously, unpublished and polished prose up to 4,000 words year round, unless announced otherwise. Preferences veer toward shorter works under 1500 words, and we are always looking for smack-’em-upside-the-head, tight short, shorts around 500 words. No multiple submissions but simultaneous is fine as long as you let us know asap if the piece is accepted elsewhere. Your work will be considered for both the print and online issues. Please submit to MMR Online Submissions.
Poetry
We are now accepting previously unpublished poetry of all forms. Please submit 1 – 5 poems to MMR Online Submissions.
Prosetry Contest

Gallery (Visual Art)
Send us a link for your online portfolio that includes all the works (at least 3, 10 or more even better) that you would like us to consider for the Gallery. You can also send a 100 to 200 word bio. If accepted, we will request attached jpegs of the chosen works. Please do not send more than one submission at a time—one submission that includes a single panel (jpeg) and a link to your online portfolio. We will be careful to check your online portfolio and ask for more if we like what we see. Submit all gallery pieces to MMR Online Submissions.

RIGHTS | If accepted, you are granting Moon Milk Review first North American serial, promotional, non-exclusive anthology, and archival rights. Copyright reverts to the author upon publication. If the piece is subsequently published in another venue, we ask you to source Moon Milk Review as first publication.
PAYMENT | .05 cents per word plus contributor copy for stories chosen exclusively for the Annual Issue. No payment for stories published in the monthly issues. Online stories will be considered for publication also in the Annual Issue to be compensated with one contributor copy.
